About Us

Our Staff

The Dragon Zone Paddling Club is operated by the Canadian International Dragon Boat Festival Society (CIDBFS), a registered non-profit society formed in 1989, which also produces the Concord Pacific Vancouver Dragon Boat Festival and the Steveston Dragon Boat Festival and operates a number of other dragon boat and paddling events throughout the year.

Our Mission

Culture, community and competition all in one boat.

Our non-profit society reflects diversity through festivals that celebrate the arts and dragon boat racing.  We have expanded our mission by supporting our activities with year round programs such as the Dragon Zone Paddling Club and the Community Boathouse.
