Current Dock Status: DOCKS ARE OPEN

Holiday Operational Hour Adjustments

From December 20th to January 5th , we will be operating with holiday hours in effect:

  • December 20-23: 9:00 AM-4:00 PM
  • December 24, 2024-January 1, 2025: 10:00 AM-2:00 PM (Closed December 25)
  • January 2-5: 9:00 AM-4:00 PM

Current Dock Hours of Operation: OPEN ON REDUCED WINTER HOURS UNTIL APPROXIMATELY MARCH, 2025; PUBLIC RENTALS ARE NOW CLOSED.



Kayak and OC-1 passholders should book their slots at register.dragonboatbc.ca. Slots open on a 7 day rolling basis on 15 minute increments. Reservations must be made by midnight the evening before your requested slot. Program, OC-1 and kayak passes, and race registrations are open for registration now at register.dragonboatbc.ca.

REMINDERS:

Night Time/Dark Conditions Paddling Rules

  • No boats are allowed past Burrard Street Bridge after dusk or before sunrise.
  • All boats must have a non-flashing solid white light that is clearly visible all around the boat. Small boats are required to have lights at the front and back of the boat, and on their PFD. No lights are supplied to paddlers; please remember to bring your own.
  • All team boats must also have non-flashing solid white lights at the front and back of their boat.

Winter Paddling Rules in effect Until April 15, 2025

  • No boats are allowed past Burrard Street Bridge after dusk or before sunrise.
  • The docks are closed between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM, and no boats are allowed to be out during this time.

Any updates or changes will be issued through our regular communication channels including our online sites. We adjust our programs according to regular reviews of operational considerations and demands. Please ensure your profiles on register.dragonboatbc.ca are up to date, as we may reach out to you through the information on the system to assist you. As a non-profit organization, we are deeply grateful and thankful for the support from the community.

  • Please stay at home if you are feeling ill, or are testing positive. Close contacts are advised to skip a session or two out of an abundance of caution.
  • Assistance on registrations including suspended programs from 2020 is available on weekdays via email through [email protected]
