Current Dock Status: Normal Winter Operations
Current Dock Hours: Passholder and Team bookings only. Public kayak rentals reopen Spring 2026.

    Winter Hours – Passholders and Teams only (October 1-December 21, January 5-March 30)

  • Weekdays: 9:00 AM-9:00 PM
  • Weekends and Statutory Holidays: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Main Office Hours:Weekdays excluding holidays: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Email info@dragonboatbc.ca for assistance.
Creekside Community Centre Hours: Washrooms/fitness centre are open during their regularly scheduled operating hours.


Kayak and OC-1 passholders should book their slots at register.dragonboatbc.ca. Slots open on a 7 day rolling basis on 15 minute increments. Reservations must be made by midnight the evening before your requested slot. Program, OC-1 and kayak passes, and race registrations are open for registration now at register.dragonboatbc.ca.

REMINDERS:

Night Time/Dark Conditions Paddling Rules

  • No boats are allowed past Burrard Street Bridge after dusk or before sunrise.
  • All boats must have a non-flashing solid white light that is clearly visible all around the boat. Small boats are required to have lights at the front and back of the boat, and on their PFD. No lights are supplied to paddlers; please remember to bring your own.
  • All team boats must also have non-flashing solid white lights at the front and back of their boat.

Winter Paddling Rules in effect from September 15th Until April 15

  • No boats are allowed past Burrard Street Bridge after dusk or before sunrise.
  • The docks are closed between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM, and no boats are allowed to be out during this time.

Dragon Boat BC is pleased to announce information on its upcoming race events! Registration is now open at register.dragonboatbc.ca. Take 10% off on summer races until March 31. Early bird race registration packages available until December 31.


GENERAL UPDATES AND REMINDERS

Any updates or changes will be issued through our regular communication channels including our online sites. We adjust our programs according to regular reviews of operational considerations and demands. Please ensure your profiles on register.dragonboatbc.ca are up to date, as we may reach out to you through the information on the system to assist you. As a non-profit organization, we are deeply grateful and thankful for the support from the community.

  • Extraordinary closures due to winter or extreme weather conditions will be posted on the Club’s Facebook group at Dragon Zone Community and also communicated to reservations and teams directly. Extended closures will also be posted on the Dragon Boat BC Facebook and Instagram pages.
  • Assistance on registrations is available on weekdays via email through info@dragonboatbc.ca
