Team-building leaders needed as volunteers

If you have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share, love your community, and enjoy people, the Concord Pacific Vancouver Dragon Boat Festival needs your leadership and team-building skills.

Sign on as a leadership volunteer for the 2017 festival and put your skills to work helping to organize other volunteers working five-hour shifts at various locations, including the Racers’ Village, Kids’ Zone and World Beat Stage. The festival runs for three days, June 23 to 25, at Concord Pacific Place, Creekside Park, and along False Creek near Science World.

Along with the grateful appreciation of the festival’s organizers, paddlers, sponsors, and fellow volunteers, you’ll receive a festival T-shirt, complimentary meals and snacks, door prize entries, and an invitation to the post-festival party on June 28.
